Do you want to work for one of the global leaders in enterprise data & cyber security solutions? Join our Product Cloud team and you will be the forefront of driving positive business change using your coding skills over ground-breaking technologies to develop backend side of web services on top of cloud infrastructures and enterprise applications.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Product Cloud team which is home to a group of good friends who happen to work as Software Developers and DevOps Engineers. The team operates as a start-up and looks after a global cloud platform used by Sales people, Support engineers, Training teams and Business Partners worldwide! We built it, we run it and we keep working to make it grow so that our users can experience Trend Micro and 3rd party products using an innovative ecosystem of business tools which helps them work better and faster.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will have ownership of entire portions of the backend of Product Cloud and will work with other Cloud Developers in Cork and Taipei to build and scale our platform together:
  • Work intensively to design, code, implement and support the overall platform backend behind “Product Cloud” on a global scale
  • Translate product features into backend code to deliver innovative capabilities to our customers through our cloud platform
  • Improve existing code to speed up delivery of services, transform legacy components into intelligent tools that will increase user experience and reduce human intervention
We also work to contribute to company-wide teams and functional communities, so this role gives you the excitement of a start-up within a global player in the cybersecurity industry.
You Are:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English
You Have:
  • Expertise in backend development integrating web services
  • Solid expertise with NodeJS and Typescript development. Experience with Golang is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software and frameworks like Expressjs, Mongo, Redis and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with open standards OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and OpenApi
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related area, or >5 years related IT or coding/developer experience
  • Hands on experience with strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to execute and deliver results keeping a friendly attitude and approach when working under pressure
